1. Who we are
LFRP (lfrp.app) is run by Ansh Sharma, an individual based in the United States, who is responsible for your data under this policy. For anything about your data, write to privacy@lfrp.app or use Contact → Legal or privacy.
2. What we collect
- Your account: your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), or your basic profile from Google or Discord if you log in with them.
- What you choose to share: your handle, picture, bio, genres, pace and limits; your characters; your requests, applications and invitations; community posts.
- Your stories and messages: everything you write in stories and chats. These are visible only to the people in them.
- Age confirmation: that you confirmed you're 18 or older, and when.
- Payments: the credits you buy and spend. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store them.
- Usage and errors: pages you visit and features you use, and technical details when something breaks (browser, device type, the error). We use this to fix bugs and decide what to build.
- Messages to us: what you send through the contact form, the page you sent it from, and your browser.
3. How we use it
- To run LFRP: your account, matching you with partners, showing your requests, delivering notifications.
- To keep people safe: enforcing our guidelines, handling reports and blocks, stopping abuse and ban evasion.
- To improve LFRP, using usage data and error reports.
- To process payments for credits.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use your stories to train AI models.
4. Who can see your stories
Stories and chats are private to the people in them. Our staff don't browse them. If something in a story is reported, moderators can read the reported content to act on it, and each access is logged.
6. Cookies and your device
We use cookies to keep you logged in. Your browser also stores your display settings (theme, text size and so on), your board filters and unsent drafts. Those stay on your device. Analytics uses its own identifier to tell visits apart.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, characters, requests, community memberships and uploaded pictures are deleted. Posts you wrote in stories stay, shown as from a deleted user, so your partners' stories still make sense. If you want those removed too, ask us.
We keep records we're legally required to (such as payment records) for as long as the law requires, and may keep moderation records to prevent banned people from returning.
8. Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile any time, and change notifications and content settings in Settings.
- Delete your account from Settings → Account.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for corrections, at privacy@lfrp.app or through Contact → Legal or privacy. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws like the GDPR; we'll honour them.
9. Adults only
LFRP is for people 18 and older. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you on LFRP before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
