Beyond the Void - Space Exploration & Discovery

The year is 2847. Humanity has spread across the stars, joined by several alien species in a fragile interstellar coalition. First contact protocols are well-established, faster-than-light travel is commonplace, and the known galaxy has been thoroughly mapped. Until now. A deep space exploration vessel has detected something impossible - a signal from outside mapped space, using technology that predates any known civilization. I'm looking to play the ship's captain (or first officer) assembling a small crew to investigate. Your character could be a scientist, pilot, engineer, alien liaison, or even a stowaway with their own reasons for wanting to be on this mission. This will be an adventure focused on discovery, wonder, and the dangers of venturing into the unknown. Expect encounters with ancient technology, moral dilemmas, crew bonding, and the slow realization that some mysteries might be better left unsolved. I prefer collaborative storytelling where both partners contribute to world-building and plot development. Looking for someone who enjoys sci-fi without getting bogged down in technical details, and who values character development as much as exciting discoveries.
